ARTISTIC CAREER

Cristiana Isoleri was born in Milan, where she lived and worked for most of her career. During her time at Brera Academy, which she attended from 1946 to 1950, she studied under Marino Marini. She also made sculptures as part of a group with Alik Cavaliere, Giancarlo Sangregorio, Aldo Caron, Bianca Orsi and Isa Pizzoni. At the same time, she painted as a student of Funi. In 1951, she decided to leave Italy for Switzerland, where she continued to make sculptures. Since returning to Italy in 1964, she has dedicated herself to painting, a material painting and of reliefs that relate to her previous plastic experience.
